Meet the Co-Founders

Cheri Dion

Co-Founder / Chief Marketing & Operations Officer

Since co-founding AAT’s digital evolution in 2005, I’ve had the privilege of serving as the Chief Marketing & Operations Officer, playing a key role in our growth and transformation. From the start, my vision has been to not only lead our marketing efforts but also shape the creative and strategic direction that defines who we are today. I’ve always focused on building AAT’s brand identity and operational strategy, making sure we push boundaries while staying true to our core mission. A significant part of this vision was my work on the graphic user interface for the AAT software, where I aimed to create a simple and intuitive experience for practitioners, ensuring the technology is both easy to use and effective.

I’m passionate about giving our practitioners the tools they need to thrive—not just in delivering treatments but also in effectively promoting AAT. I’ve concentrated on developing comprehensive, high-quality marketing materials that empower them to spread the word, build awareness in their communities, and attract new patients.

Before AAT, I gained valuable experience in creative direction and marketing while working with leading brands. I had the opportunity to collaborate with industry giants like Warner Bros., Macy’s, The Gap, and Neiman Marcus, where I led national in-store launches for brands such as Nike, Calvin Klein Jeans, and DKNY. My time at Warner Brothers International Studio Stores took me to global markets, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, and Australia, where I provided creative and visual direction for all franchise locations outside the U.S. These experiences sharpened my ability to navigate diverse cultures, ensuring that each market’s unique nuances were reflected in the brand’s messaging and execution.

At AAT, I strive to go beyond traditional marketing. I focus on building a strong brand identity that reflects our core values while making sure our messaging resonates with our audience. I believe that creativity and strategic vision must work in harmony, and this approach has been key in positioning AAT as a leader in our field.

As AAT continues to grow, I’m excited about what lies ahead. My role is more than just a title; it’s about finding new ways to push AAT forward while staying true to our roots. Expanding into global markets is central to that vision, ensuring our technology reaches practitioners and patients worldwide.

Outside of AAT, I’m passionate about personal development and frequently attend events to broaden my knowledge and connect with thought leaders. I also dedicate time to mentoring the next generation of marketing professionals. Living near Lake Tahoe in Northern Nevada, I enjoy traveling, exploring different cultures, and spending time hiking or mountain biking on the trails around the Sierra Nevadas.

DeBritt Ealey, L.Ac

Co-Founder / Chief Clinical Officer

As a Co-founder of AAT, I’ve had the privilege of playing an instrumental role in the company’s growth and evolution since 2001. As the Chief Clinical Officer, I oversee AAT’s training, treatment protocols, digital library, and clinical operations. Over the past two decades, I’ve personally trained more than 400 AAT practitioners worldwide, supporting them to successfully integrate AAT into their practices. I have also played a pivotal role in expanding AAT into international markets including Australia, Japan, Canada, and the United States, by training, launching, and managing multiple seven-figure AAT clinics globally.

From AAT’s early development to its current global reach, I’ve been at the forefront of our innovations. My contributions span software and protocol development, treatment and training implementation and the creation of our online training program. I am especially proud to have built and organized our comprehensive digital library, which includes over 65,000 substances and continues to grow. This library enables practitioners to perform highly accurate assessments and deliver personalized treatments, making it a cornerstone of AAT’s effectiveness and success.

I continue to lead clinical training for all AAT practitioners, ensuring the highest standards in the therapy’s application. Beyond training, I stay hands-on with the practitioners, providing clinical support, addressing inquiries, advising on cases, and refining best practices for the therapy.

Alongside my leadership role with AAT, I’ve had the honor of successfully treating thousands of patients with the AAT therapy over the past 25 years as a licensed acupuncturist, and I continue to maintain a private practice in Northern Virginia. Working directly with patients keeps me attuned to the challenges practitioners face and helps me stay current with health trends and the evolving needs of both patients and practitioners. This experience drives my commitment to continually improve and expand the AAT therapy. To further this goal, I regularly collaborate with a select group of experienced AAT practitioners—including medical doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturists, naturopaths, and nurses—to explore ways to enhance treatment options and outcomes across the AAT community.

Passionate about patient care, I find fulfillment in teaching and training practitioners to incorporate AAT into their practices, knowing it can help more people. As a lifelong learner, I am dedicated to continuous study in the field of health and wellness for both the mind and body, firmly believing that with the right tools, the body can heal itself. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, traveling, and staying active outdoors.
